Every plant has unique lighting needs. Use this guide to position your Fern™ Adjustable Tabletop Lampstand for optimal growth.
The Fern pairs with the wide-beam Vita™, made for plants closer than 3 ft from the light. Its broad spread covers your whole plant up close, perfect for desks, countertops, and side tables.
Raise the Fern from 16" to 24" and pivot the socket to aim the Vita right at your plant. Move it closer for brighter light, or farther away for a softer glow.

"The lamp is slim and unobtrusive. It sets nicely on the shelf and angles down on my herbs. It holds the angle without slipping. I took off a star because the fitting the lamp post svrews onto isn't properly situated. If I tighten the post so the lamp feels secure, the cutout exposing the electric cord is on front of the lamp. I loosened the post so the cutout is in the back. This works, I just didn't expect an issue and makes me question your current quality control."
"My plants thrive underneath this light. Taking a step into the houseplant hobby a couple months ago, I was initially worried when I tried my hand at a Thai constellation, alocasia, and orchid all at once. Before having a proper light, I was noticing leaf burn on the monstera and the orchid had dropped its two flowers. I wanted to get a light that was both high quality and aesthetic because I keep my plants right next to my office desk where I see them constantly, and didn't want something too industrial. This lamp seemed as easy a setup as I could find because it stands on its own and fits on a medium sized tabletop. I'm glad I made this purchase. I have been stunned by how well all three plants are doing. The monstera's burn stopped and it's putting off a new leaf. The orchid is also growing a new leaf. I used a LUX meter to measure the light each plant is getting to ensure nothing is too close or far away. Additionally, this light, while quite bright, has the warmest hue out of any of my other house lights, and is more comfortable on the eyes. I would absolutely recommend it, especially when it's on sale to help offset the premium price."
"I really like this lampstand overall. The adjustability is excellent, and it makes it easy to position the Vita grow light exactly where I want it. I also really appreciate the warmth of the light and the broad, even dispersion. Most importantly, the design makes the Vita grow light feel much more like an intentional piece of furniture or decor than an industrial plant light. The woven shade especially helps it blend naturally into a living space. There are a couple of small aesthetic details I would improve. When the stem is twisted fully into the base so that it is flush and tight, the power cord exits slightly off to the side rather than directly out the back. It would look cleaner if the final tightened position aligned the cord with the rear of the lamp. Also, the stem is a very pure, bright white, which looks a little stark against the warmer cream tones and variegated marble of the base."
"It’s a great light, just a little unbalanced. I had it slightly tilted up with the white metal lampshade and it fell over while we weren’t home & started to burn a hole in the finish of our wood floor. To be fair, it landed lampshade down and the light was ON the wood floor. I have the bottom weighed down now so it shouldn’t fall again. But just be aware, it might feel stable but it took like two weeks to suddenly fall. Overall, I would buy again and do recommend. Just be smarter than me and check for balance before it’s an issue."
