  • Mint is known for its digestive properties, as the menthol in mint can help soothe an upset stomach and alleviate symptoms of indigestion. Additionally, the antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties of mint may contribute to improved respiratory health and provide relief from nasal congestion. We’ve paired this herb with grapefruit, which is rich in vitamins, particularly vitamin C, which supports the immune system, skin health, and collagen production.

    Ingredients:

    • 1 cup fresh grapefruit juice
    • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
    • 1-2 tablespoons mint simple syrup (adjust to taste)
    • 6-8 fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
    • Sparkling water
    • Ice cubes
    • Grapefruit slices for garnish

    Instructions:

    • Make Mint Simple Syrup:
      • In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup water and 1/4 cup sugar.
      • Add fresh mint leaves and heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
      • Simmer for a few minutes to infuse the mint flavor.
      • Strain the syrup to remove the mint leaves and let it cool.
    • Mix the Mocktail:
      • In a shaker, combine fresh grapefruit juice, fresh lime juice, and mint simple syrup.
      • Add ice to the shaker and shake well to infuse the mint flavor.
    • Strain and Serve:
      • Strain the mixture into glasses filled with ice cubes.
    • Top with Sparkling Water:
      • Fill the glasses with sparkling water, leaving some space at the top.
    • Garnish:
      • Garnish the mocktail with a sprig of fresh mint and a slice of grapefruit.
    • Enjoy:
      • Stir gently before sipping to mix the flavors, and enjoy the Grapefruit Mint Fizz Mocktail!

Feel free to adjust the sweetness or tartness according to your taste preferences. This mocktail provides a perfect balance of citrusy grapefruit, zesty lime, and the refreshing aroma of mint. Cheers!
